Call for abstracts
IMAPS Nordic Conference 2004

Helsingør, Denmark, 26 - 28 September 2004

IMAPS Nordic is proud to announce this year’s conference in Denmark: 
After a new, careful search of suited venues, we have returned to Hotel Marienlyst, Helsingør, the beautiful hotel at the seashore, easy to reach by train directly from Copenhagen Airport.

You are welcome to submit an abstract or suggestion for a paper to the IMAPS Nordic Conference 2004. The abstract must be non-commercial and submitted in electronic form to conference@imapsnordic.org no later than 10 April 2004. Speakers will be notified of paper acceptance by email by 31 May 2004. 
The deadline for the final paper is 10 July 2004.

Proposed topics include:
  • Microelectronics applications
  • Microvia, HDI laminates 
  • Ceramics: thick film, copper plated, DBC, LTCC 
  • Unique materials, PTF, underfills and ACF, encapsulation 
  • Reliability assessment, SPC  
  • Pb and halogen free electronics, methods and consequences 
  • Chip thinning & stacking, 3D-packaging, embedding 
  • MEMS, MOEMS, sensor integration and applications
  • Ambient intelligence 

 
  • SMT and board assembly
  • Manufacturing management and outsourcing
  • Wirebonding, COB
  • CSP, flip chips, area array 
  • High frequency packaging
  • Advanced interconnect, Known Good Die, MCM
  • System cost assessment
  • Integrated passive devices (IPD) and System in Package (SiP)
  • Future electronics, trends and strategies
